Kundalini yoga is a dynamic and spiritual form of yoga that combines physical postures, breathwork, chanting, and meditation to awaken and elevate the dormant energy within the body, known as kundalini. This energy is said to reside at the base of the spine and, when awakened, can lead to heightened self-awareness, mental clarity, and a deeper sense of spiritual connection. The practice emphasizes the use of specific kriyas (a set of physical exercises), mantra chanting, and pranayama (breath control) to balance the body’s energy centers, or chakras. Kundalini yoga is often described as a transformative practice that not only strengthens the body but also expands consciousness and fosters inner peace, making it a powerful tool for personal growth and spiritual awakening.
